This 8S 12Ah pack retains the 185 x 83mm footprint of its 6S counterpart but increases the body thickness to 75mm. It also changes the nominal voltage to 29.6V and the normal charging endpoint to 33.6V. Aircraft selection therefore needs both an electrical check and a tray-clearance check, rather than a capacity-only comparison.

Separate the 8S model from the 6S family
An 8S 12Ah LiPo battery requires its own charger and aircraft voltage review. The 29.6V rating, eight-cell BOM and nine-position balancing interface agree on the series count. A carried-over 6S phrase elsewhere in the source should not be used to identify this product.
Energy and mass for the airframe review
The 29.6V 12000mAh UAV battery lists 355.2Wh and a 2090g pack mass. Its 185 x 83 x 75mm maximum body is thicker than the 22.2V version. Evaluate the installed center of mass and clearance before deciding whether the additional series cells suit the aircraft.
Specify the 33.6V charge program
This 8S drone power pack is normally charged to 33.6V. The source also gives a 34.0V absolute maximum, which is not the standard charger setting. The charge-current entries are 6A standard and 12A maximum; the aircraft charging procedure should state which condition is approved.
Keep the harness in the sample definition
For a JS8880165 8S battery, the reference has 165mm 10AWG main leads and a 75mm 22AWG balance lead. The balancing housing has nine positions; the power plug is XT90-S. Ask for the approved current of the finished assembly because the 25C cell-family figure alone cannot qualify its cables, joints and connector.

FAQ
Why does the specification contain both 6S and 8S wording?
The scope has an inconsistent 6S phrase. The pack voltage, eight-cell BOM and nine-position balancing connector identify the 8S configuration used here.
Can the 6S version use the same charger program?
No. This reference calls for 33.6V normal charging and has an eight-cell series arrangement. The 22.2V pack is a separate product.
What must be checked at the first installation?
Check the 75mm body thickness, battery restraint, cable route, plug polarity and aircraft voltage window. Include the 2090g reference mass in the airframe review.
