Product Summary

New Journey quotes its 48V 30Ah AMR battery for robots using a 51.2V, 16S1P platform. The 1.536kWh pack has a 285 x 230 x 185mm body, giving integrators a defined fit to assess. CAN and RS485 support project integration, with the protocol and dock-charging requirements agreed for the robot.

Product Description

Despite its 48V market class, the 48V 30Ah AMR Battery uses a 51.2V nominal, 16S configuration. Its 40-58.4V operating range therefore differs from the 15S 60Ah platform. The compact body can be checked early against the chassis drawing. Current roles for the listed 30A and 45A values require clarification before those values are used for controller or charger selection.

Compact Body

A 48V 30Ah mobile robot battery should be selected from battery-bay geometry, mounting, connector direction and service clearance. Compact AMRs often have little tolerance for connector direction, cable bend radius or service clearance, so dimensional approval must cover more than overall length, width and height. Mounting features, removal path and access for technicians can determine whether the battery is practical in daily fleet use. New Journey therefore treats mechanical fit as an integration task rather than assuming a public market size is universal.

Replacement and Sample Checks

A 30Ah AMR replacement battery is approved after the old label, battery-bay size, charger, connectors and communication data are reviewed. Use a higher-capacity SKU when the robot needs more energy between charges. The replacement path starts with evidence from the existing robot so New Journey can preserve the correct voltage route, battery-bay fit, connector and communication behavior. The 30Ah option is best suited to robots that can meet their energy target with a compact pack or access regular charging. When the route requires more energy between charging windows, moving to a higher-capacity SKU may be more appropriate than forcing the 30Ah pack beyond its intended duty cycle.

Confirm the actual nominal voltage

Keep the 16S configuration on the drawing and purchase specification. A 48V category label should not replace the numerical charge limits or communication settings required by the selected robot.

FAQ

What should I compare before selecting 48V 30Ah AMR Battery?

nominal voltage: 51.2V for this model, compared with 48.0V for 48V 60Ah AMR Battery; capacity: 30Ah for this model, compared with 60Ah for 48V 60Ah AMR Battery.

Can 30A and 45A be used directly as charging limits?

Their charge or discharge roles are not identified in the current reference. Do not use those two values as charger settings. The 16S1P voltage architecture and dimensions can be reviewed now; current limits require the model-specific electrical specification.

How much installation space should I allow for this battery?

Reference Dimensions: 285 × 230 × 185 mm. Allow access to the terminals or connector and room for the cable bend and retention hardware. Compare the finished assembly drawing with the actual equipment space before fixing the mounting points.

Does the listed communication interface make this battery plug-and-play with my robot?

For the 48V 30Ah AMR Battery, the interface entry is Communication: CAN + RS485. The connector pinout, message IDs, data scaling and charging handshake must match the robot controller. Supplying the same physical bus does not by itself establish protocol compatibility.
